MEMORIAL DAY TRIBUTE - We are making an honorary/memorial wall of photos to pay tribute to veterans. Please provide photos of your loved ones, husbands, wives, sons, dauaghters, grandparents, aunts, uncles and more. Please provide the name of the person in the photo, the branch of the military they served and what years they served. We need these photos no later than Wednesday May 25th. Please bring copies only of these photos and not originals.

*** Office Part-time Help ***: There are 2 part time openings at the Cove POA Welcome Center for general office help. Duties are just about anything needed in an office...computer work, copying, filing, etc. Email information or resumes to firstname.lastname@example.org, mail them to 16939 Hwy 70N, or drop them at the Cove office, attn: Board of Directors.
*** VOLUNTEERS! ***: Volunteering on Cove committees is a wonderful way to get to know your neighbors as well as helping our community. Click on the ANNOUNCEMENTS menu item to see some of the committees that would currently like your help (inncluding Budget, Elections, Policies and Procedures, Parks and Trails).
*** Cove Equipment ***: Cove Assets and equipment are for official Cove use only. Chain saws, the tractor, the truck, and any equipment used by committees are for their offical use only. Individuals may NOT borrow the equipment for their personal use. Equipment at the POA office including chairs and tables can only be used on premises...they cannot be loaned for off-site use,per the current Welcome Center Usage Agreement.
The Chipper use is administrated by Firewise, and can be used by those who have taken the training.
**REMEMBER** BURN PERMITS: Between October 15th and May 15th both Cumberland County and Putnum County require burn permits. To receive a permit, go to www.burnsafetn.org, or call 931-484-4548(Cumberland Co.) or 931-839-2328(Putnum Co.).
